Introduction:

There are a lot of POS in the market, we introduced new kind of POS. We are using our proprietary database. This database is light-weight, easy access, read and write. The most important is on-premise design. All the POS sales data are stored locally.

Our next paid version including export the database to Excel file. This POS Basic is for demonstration purpose, only contains basic function.

This article mainly introduces the POS Basic application which will support in Android, iOS, MacOS and Windows OS.

Limitations:

1. Record only keep one day.
2. Only can add 5 categories (total).
3. Only can add 10 sub-items (total).
4. No record deletion.

The following diagrams illustrate user interface design.

There are only 4 page, first page is ‘Home’, for the commodity order input. The second page is ‘Commodity’, for the Commodity configuration. The third page is ‘Admin’, for review the daily payment summary. The forth is ‘About & Help’, for simple descriptions.

User needs to configure the commodity before any sales activity.
Please add the commodity before process, steps as follow.

1. Add the Main category name of commodity, allow up to 5 categories.
2. Add the Sub item name of commodity, allow up to 10 sub-items.
3. Change the Price of the commodity.
4. Add the remark (allow empty).
5. Add new sub-item by pressed [\'+\'] button in top right corner.
6. Add new category by pressed [\'+\'] button in top left corner.
7. Save the commodity.
8. Go to Home to accept payment and view record.

Daily record review, it show all the daily payments with simple summary.

Summary:

We provide simple commodity configuration, start to sale, payment summary in this application. All the data are stored in our proprietary database. This is the basic version, paid version contains more features.
